I totally love how he plays with your feelings in this song. Maybe its just my perception, but at the time when he repeats this "...dreading a time that is not near as a man on a cross i have no fear..." - you first get led by the constant synth tone. When the violins get louder and the other instruments are quite, you feel pure emptiness, and for me, it feels like your soul gets pulled out of your body and get led by the music. When the hard synth (dont know how to describe it) begins you feel pure fear. Then the drumset comes in from some kind of corner, and you get more comfortable, and when the whole instruments came back, you feel very relieved. Sorry, I think im to crazy for this :D |
