I thought it was a heartbreak song at first. I thought it was about a couple just breaking up and both of them want to say something to each other, but also not wanting to give up their pride. It could also be a song about a crush because you know that you two have a spark but neither one of you want to admit it or make a move on the other. This relates to me because there's this guy I used to like and we both liked each other and we knew it, but neither one of us wanted to make a move. And now we're both in the same club (at school) and we always peek glances at one another but don't want to admit that we still like each other. |
