I air on the side of metaphor for most of this. It seems to be more about distance, and the objectification of women. Girls frequently "strip" for men, by dealing with constantly being hit on, and all the advances made by people. He's just jealous, as most men get. She works away from him, and guys hit on her constantly, and the fact that he isn't around makes him angry, as he can't go around putting men in their place. It's mental strife. My opinion may be biased as I'm in a long distance relationship currently because of circumstances, but that's my spin on it, and I've had the opinion for a while. |
