This song always makes me think about my best friend I've ever had. It's from when I was younger and he kinda tought me how to do stuff. But he's gone now... And this song has helped me move along from being so sad about it. I still think about him (my friend) and when I'm upset I always pretend he is there and I talk to him. It always helps me. |

I think this song is about loosing someone. And I do think the line "Fade into the light" does support death considering they say when you die you go to the light. But I don't think it's the person dieing I think it's about loosing someone else to death that you loved.I will support this with the line "Don’t Go'."silence falls into the deafening sirens of my own epiphany." I think he is realizing that his loved one is really dead. then "The silent come Reawakening Pass me on Into eternity" is him dealing with it or getting over it. "here I lie with my regrets" is him thinking about all the bad stuff he's done to this dieing person. |

I love the line "Dreams feed to me In the form of a magazine" It's stating that people don't really want this stuff, but then they see an advertisement for it and they are like 'I need this, or I need that...'.Also the line "to buy a better life" And I ask, can you really BUY a better life? And even after you get something new to make your life better, you will only get tired of it then want something else.
And I don't think that the song's major point was that the advertisements are the bad thing. I think he(song writer) was focusing on how the people are so greedy and believe that money will solve anything they need it to. So, the reason the wold is running in place (not getting any ware) is because all people do is want and solve all their problems by buying stuff they don't need. |
