| well to me it's Danny saying that he is a reality check to this girl (i'm just a kick in the teeth) like he is telling her "hey my world and lifestyle is tough" and the part about "from a world that's painted gold" is talking about how the lifestyle of a rockstar is suppose to all exciting and enticing but no body ever sees the filth and reckless behavior because it's all painted in "gold" to be glamorous to the viewers,just my take on it | |
