Well, I love science fiction stories and other such things, so when I hear this song, I listen to it like it's a story being told.
An alien princess falling in love with a human. Or hell, just one alien falling in love with another, hence the "alien seax" Kanye happened to mention, lolo. It's intergalactic love, depicted much differently from human love. I think the video is EPIC and depicts it well, too. At the end, she is an alien and she "frees" a space man who reveals himself to be an albino human. She pulls off the bottom part of her dress revealing deer legs, and they walk towards the sunset hand-in-hand.
I don't like pretending it's a metaphor or a reference to real life. I love the fantasy story version much better. A love that is not shallow and is as infinite as the universe... beautiful. ♥ |
