| I agree. However, i think this song is addressed to the girl. They were together and she "desired" his attention but "denied" his affection. Because of her religious beliefs, the girl in this song denied the singer's offer of love, sex. This song is about the mans internal struggle with this notion. He thinks that his expression of love is a good thing. The blank white page is the girls virginity, and when the singer mentions rage, he is showing how the girl's virginity is responding to him. I feel like the relationship ended because of this. | |
