| I honestly don't know what this song means, but when I first heard it, I thought she was really talking about Antarctica. I thought that she was singing about how Antarctica is one of the only real natural and fresh places left on Earth and how when she goes back to the city everything's too busy, but the lights are pretty, but she still can't wait to go back to Antarctica because it's way prettier there. Of course, that wouldn't explain the part where she sings about the world below the ice, but I think she might just be using her imagination saying that we don't really know what's below the ice. The animals underneath could be doing whatever, having a good time just like us humans do. That was my literal take on it. This is what I thought when i first heard the song before looking at it too deeply. | |
