Don't get me wrong, there are many SOAD sons that I *do*, like, but this is *not* one of them. It immediately comes off as being extremely ignorant, disrespectful, and downright insulting to America as a nation, and to our brave military specifically. You can see the completely obvious ignorance right out of the gate with the first line: "We want peace with Patriot missiles" If they had bothered to do a 2-second wikipedia search, they might have realized that Patriot missiles are *defensive* weapons, designed for an anti-air/anti-ballistic missile role. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patriot_missiles And unlike most other nations in the history of ever, the United States actually puts a lot of effort in *rebuilding* the nations we conquer (look at how great Germany and Japan are doing now). And what exactly is the point of the line "Country without a race"? America is the most diverse nation in the world, and we are proud of that. I usually expect better from SOAD - this one sounds like the angry, misinformed, and incoherent ranting of a drunken liberal freshman who's flunking his humanities major. |
