Amen to that... I always expect to hear greatness on a new foo record, but this album far exceeded my expectations....I agree, it may be their best album to date Long live the foo! Rock would be in trouble without them |

dude if you've ever heard grohl about the devastation he felt when cobain died, it should come as no surprise that he still writes about it I understand grohl downplaying the cobain connection even regarding lyrics that pretty obviously refer to cobains death & courtney love etc. An artist doesn't want to alienate an audience by forcing an interpretation upon them that is in accord with his own interpretation....if lyricists did that we wouldn't have a whole lot to write about on this forum. Why are "hardcore foo fans" so defensive about interpretations that relate to cobain? |
