| @Marrok that's a pretty ridiculous conclusion to make. As the original commenter mentioned Coueur D'Alene (both the lake and the town) are located very close to Myles's hometown (Spokane, WA). I have a feeling he's been "safe in her arms" swimming many more times than he has drowned himself. He also talks about the solace of her shore, which clearly does not indicate drowning himself. Furthermore, he mentions still belonging at Coueur D'Alene. Again, that does not indicate drowning but instead enjoying the location. If you have ever been to Coueur D'Alene, you know that it is an incredibly beautiful, peaceful place. I think he is expressing a longing for a reprieve from touring and a return to peaceful enjoyment of nature. | |
