wow... first of all this song is kl! how i see it, she's talking about her unfaithful lover. man of a thousand faces could mean that he has different sides to him that she might not know. smiles at the moon like he knows her... the moon could probably be regina herself... his words are quiet like stains are could mean that he said some things to her that might have hinted that he has been unfaithful n she picked it up n tried her best to overlook it or play it off. going to his "favourite bookstores" could suggest the different women he had been seeing, ripping out his favourite pages and stuffing it into his breast pocket could mean that each woman could probly have something specific he likes about them or sees them for those things and keeping them close to heart (breast pocket being over the heart)... the moon to him was a stranger could mean that he doesnt pay regina much mind since he's out cheating on her.. then when he comes home he pretends like nothing has been going on and putting on a front for her while he's thinking about the other women. idk thats jus wat i got from it :P |

i agree with the suicide part, but how i thought of the orgasm, "dreaming that the antidote was orgasm".... it reminded of of somthing like a wet dream, n then it kinda made sense, seeing that he has gone to an "eternal sleep" so to speak, and him being in the lake and all would account for the wet part. but the orgasm representing the climax seems like a good enough answer to me though :P |
