well they do have to deal with those things, but they also know how to handle them. alex has lost a brother due to suicide, sooo they for sure know about those hardships. but they know how to get past them and deal. |

that could be argued. he may be writing it from a guys perspective, but that doesnt mean that he isnt trying to includ both genders. also.....mosnter breakdowns? im assuming you dont listen to many heavy bands, but while adtr is good....they dont have "monster breakdowns"

ok please hear me out. let me start by saying im not some 14 y/o school girl that is all willynilly about atl. im a 20y/o college guy. got into alltime low in early 2000's and stuck with them through higschool. so i feel like i have to give all their material a chance. when i first heard this.....well i had to pull my car over. i didn't understand it at all. theres shit about Ke$ha, and "shawty's" and it was just like "wtf?" hell i had the same reaction when i first heard Nothing Personal. I hated it, and was just in disbeleife that the band that produced songs with lyrics like We All Fall Down, and instrumentals like their Interlude on The Party Scene, put this shit out. But then again its All Time Low. they are hardly ever serious, so could there actually be a meaning to this "song"? so i did research. I found out that there actually is, and that this song is supposed to sound exactly the way it does. The meaning of it is to poke fun at these Pop artist that make songs about absolutly nothing. Perfect example, Rebecca Black. This song is meant to be served as a message to these artist, to tell them that anyone can make songs like that, so shut the fuck up. After knowing that, I could kinda laugh at the song, and understand that its nothing but a sillier version of Poppin' Champagne. I think Dirty Work will be a good album. I definetly think we are about to hear a new All Time Low, but thats expected.
