| Prospect 1 is the guy from Swim to the Moon. In Swim to the Moon, he's fed up with life and gets on raft and floats out on the sea. In this song, he lands on a weird island with weird animals and stuff on it (I believe that is what Paul said.) Prospect 2 is a guy that lives thousands of light years away from Earth. His planet is similar to Earth and the people are destroying the planet. The people of his planet heard of Earth and Prospect #2 is sent to check it out. On his way home, he discovers that his home planet has just destroyed itself hence the lyrics: "Home. The empty space of home. All I've known is gone. All I've loved is lost." Somewhere along the lines, Prospects 1 and 2 become aware of each other and in the next album, they will meet. | |
