I have 2 of Tori's CDs on my ipod, but just "re-discovered" this song the other day, and kept listening to it over and over, it just blows me away. Corny I think you got it right - I feel a lot about feminism, but also Catholicism in these lyrics. I love especially the ending (yes, luey baby) - She is risen - and it is addressed to the "Boys." A slap in the face to those who think they have all the answers? Reminds me of one of my favorite bumper stickers - "God is coming... and boy, is she pissed!" |
