I agree with soulglowactivatur, except I also think that the two are best friends and he wants to tell her how he feels, and when he says "I got nothing to lose, but you" that means that their friendship could be over in a split second, and the truth that he needs to tell her is killing him inside and he is afraid to tell her, which is the "Dive off a cliff part".
Anyways I love this song, and my interpretation pretty much sums up my current situation, so maybe that's why I see this song like that. |

First one to comment on this awesome song! Okay but I think this song is about like finding yourself and realizing that in the end, even if things go wrong, "We are the only friends we ever had".It's not super well thought out but I love the song so I thought I'd comment. |
