A guy that agreed that me and him have feelings for each other went on a trip for a few days and I wondered when he came home if he was going to be the same as he used to be. Turns out he started to like someone else on the trip. So this can apply to that situation as well. He came back and kind of wants things to be good between us but after this point no matter how much we try, it's over for us. |

If we look at this joining the song and the video, the story I get is that the girl was in fact a prostitute who was hiding her occupation from her husband (they lived together according to the video and its supposed to be in an older setting, hence, husband and wife?). Once the husband found out her secret she had to kill him so that things didn't get out of hand. |
