i absolutely love the song itself. but the meaning i absolutely do not believe in.. there is a god. a merciful loving god. and because of that i do believe there is a hell also. or Jesus would have no perpouse. true love is sacrifice. the Nuns (lady's in black) that taught him are very mistaken fear is not love. it is respect in some ways.. anyway love his voice love his music don't believe in the meaning (:

Yes. he does mean he was taught to fear god. but i don't believe that at all, love is not to fear love is sacrifice and he was taught by someone poorly mistaken.
