Have you ever listened to "Apocalypse Today"? It's about how the environment/earth is dying and we have to all join and help otherwise we're doomed along with the planet. Ever heard "Unknown Soldier"? It's about someone who didn't have a choice but to join the military then ends up dying in war. Ever heard "Tomorrow Belongs To Us"? It's about how the adults/leaders of the world try to suppress and ignore us but it's our world tomorrow, so what they do is gonna echo in our lifetimes; it's a rally call for change against corrupt authority destroying OUR world before we inherit it. Ever heard "System Failed Us...Again"? It's about the government's tendency to overlook the lower class and ignore their needs, dooming them to lives of virtually nothing. Ever heard "War Is Business"? It's a song about exposing how the government(s)/corporations profit off wars. These all have two things in common. They are all by The Casualties, the artists you claim "are sellouts" with songs that are "just anthems telling everyone how hardcore and "punk rock" they are.". The second thing these all have in common is that they say NOTHING about partying or being cool/"punk" in any of those songs. I took the liberty to take songs from three different albums by them to prove it wasn't a one album thing. I could go on but I feel I've made my point. So my middle finger is lifted to you, you arrogant 14 year old prick. If you don't like them, that's fine but for the love of everything decent in the world DO YOUR FUCKING RESEARCH BEFORE MAKING ALLEGATIONS! |

| Well, he made Story Of A Snitch so I guess if he's gonna wage war, they have the right to tactical nuke him. Unfortunately, SOAS isn't anything compared to this. I think this may be about a vampire. "I don't wanna die so you're gonna have to" Could be about him needing blood to live. "I know that blood will be spilled, and if you won't then I will" If you won't give him some blood, he's taking it. "My grave will never be filled...where I end up I don't know...I keep on asking the question, can I be saved by confession?...When you look in my eyes I'll be the last thing you'll see." He's immortal and if he dies, since he's a vampire, where is he gonna go? Does he have a soul to save? When you see him, you're going to be killed for your blood. "Am I a man or a beast" Not sure what he is anymore because he feasts so violently. "And I can go against God's will, You better pray. 'Cause I'm an angel, a demon. Yeah I'm hell and I'm heaven. I'm everything you couldn't be, now you believe in the devil. I got to pick up the pieces, I got to bury them deep..." He's convinced he's a demon now because he lives off of blood and pain. He's everything they couldn't be: immortal. He has to pick up the pieces/carcass of his love he killed-I think that might have to do with the "I told you once, I'm the only one who holds her." Also, he says "Blood is getting harder, bodie's getting colder" I think the harder could either be harder to drink or the blood is coagulating (Hardening up after being spilled) and the body gets colder because it's being drained of blood. A song with this theme is a bit out of HU's character, but heck, it just dawned on me and makes sense. |
