Well, I, personally, do not think that it has anything to do with a drug. :/ "I guess I still miss you Oh well, it's me and you What else should we do? When talking is for functioning people I guess I still miss you But talking is for functioning people I guess I still miss you" I think that this means, obviously that he misses her. He admits it; accepts it i guess. "talking is for functioning people" What I think this means is that, he doesnt just want to talk to her. He wants to do so much more with her than just talk. And its just Him & Her, together, and the last thing he wants to do is talk. As in make out, or sex, or something. :p Because, well, he misses her. Why would he just want to talk, thats for functioning people right? pshh "You always said We'd win the lottery someday So I wouldn't have to go away I should have known That I had it all along But I didn't know till you were gone" And thisss, well, The guy is in this band, going on tour, to get money. and she would tell him that one day, they WILL win the lottery, so then he won't have to go away for too long anymore. She didnt like him going away on those long tours, so then she just left. And now he realizes that, even though they did not have a whole lot of money, that it didnt matter, because she was his lottery. As in, she was everything to him. Better than money. but he didnt realize it, until she was gone. And yahh. Thats just my interpretation of the song. :) |
