Meat Loaf – It Just Won't Quit Lyrics 4 years ago
When this album, or this song was released I had just acquired a business. I was “living the dream’, a small business owner of my own company after years of hard work.
Within four months, we were in trouble. We had put everything on the table to acquire it, and everything was at risk. I had managed it before I bought it, but in that first four months, it was like it was cursed. We were honest hardworking and legit, but we’re about to lose everything.
I didn’t sleep at night for months. I heard this song and latched onto it. Talk about relative..replace the word girl, with a synonym for a business.
The business did survive. A had enough and walked away after eleven years, it’s still up and running after almost thirty years, we turned it over to a deserving employee and he’s done very well for himself. Be careful what you wish for. Turned out, I’m just one of the guys, that business owner stress just wasn’t my cup of tea.
This song got me through some of the darkest moments in my life. Kudo’s Meat, kudo’s.

Styx – Suite Madame Blue Lyrics 5 years ago
I would believe it’s words could be of an American Soldier (Marine, Sailor, Airman) ie
“ Time after time I sit and I wait for your call
I know I'm a fool but why can I say
Whatever the price I'll pay for you, ”
