| this song is awesome kid rock is such an under rated artist....this song is about being free living life to the fullist its a great song....listening to kid when he started out and being more of a fast paced rocker who was a "pimp of the nation" or the "american bad ass" and to see how he has evolved to a more soulfull rocker is just amazing....the way he used to have a fuck the world im going to do what i want attitude and now he looks back on his life in his songs puts great meaning and emotion in his songs....i loved kid when he started out and i love him even more now. | |

| i think the most important thing is that im pretty sure the lyrics are "when masturbations lost its fun your fucking lonely" not "your fucking breaking"....that being said i think this song is about someone who is very lonely and depressed and has no girlfriend or no real friends in general which is why he sits around and masturbates all day because he has nothing better to do....the line "sit around and watch the phone but no ones calling" tells me hes lonely wishing someone would call him or talk to him but he doesnt so hes depressed so he has no motivation to do anything | |

i love this song prob one of my fav green day songs and like alot of people on here "If you could see inside my head You would start to understand The things I value in my heart" is just such a beautiful line.....anyways adding on to what i think the cut off of the last line is i always took it as "Gotta make a plan Gotta do what's right Can't run around in circles if you wanna build a life But I don't wanna make a plan for a day far away While I'm young and while I'm able all I wanna do is... (whatever i want to do)" it sounds stupid and doesnt flow with the rest of the line but keep in mind its not acctually part of the song its just what i took the meaning of it as let me know what you think |
