If you never tried Jimson weed (Datura Stramonium), you will never have a slightest idea what this song is about... I'm certainly not encouraging anyone to try it... :) This song is not about BAD trip... it is about trip on jimson weed... and jimson weed is very potent poison - which cause extreme real halucinations - where it is not possible to divide real from not real... physical effects are crazy bad... all body aches, extreme drought in your mouth with no possibility to drink... failing movement coordination... Do not try it :) you might very well die.. |

"Ceased to milch the clover flower" The clover sometimes refers to the holy trinity. Not sure what other significance it might have here. this line is quite clear for me :) clover flower is a symbol of luck... act of milking is known - gaining milk (from a cow)... so for me it is a symbolic expression: "I used up all my luck..." - I might be wrong here but it would fit the concept.. |
