Mumford & Sons – Sigh No More Lyrics 14 years ago
LMAO. You are so ignorant lakajj. Every line in this song is a reference to Jesus Christ. You really know nothing about the religion do you? And you refute it because you are blindly rebellious. Ugh, people like you sicken me. You'll never be awakened, you'll never find the freedom of love this song talks about because without following the teachings of Jesus Christ you will never find true human freedom through true love. Through God.

Noah and the Whale – Give a Little Love Lyrics 14 years ago
Opps, sorry didnt mean to comment directly to you.

Mmm, I think you are all wrong. Well, in a sense. The song is DEFINITELY a double entendre, meaning it has two meanings. If you look at the song from a philosophical perspective the band is trying to convey the very CORE of the Christian faith. Love was Jesus' teaching. And he wanted us to love one another. "Love your neighbor as yourself." In the lines "If you give a little love you can get a little love of your own. Don't break HIS heart," is where you can really see this. Jesus said "whatever you do for the least of my people you do unto me," Meaning if we do not show the love he taught us of to one another we'll be breaking His heart. So "Him" is a double entendre for God, and _____ (insert any human being). It's true, life by itself really is not all that it's worth, BUT I LOVE YOU. And that's what gave the world value. Love did. And I dont know if you know this, but God = Love by the Christian definition. Love and community (because of the trinity). God put us here to reflect His own self "we were made in God's image and likeness." And what we do out of love on earth is what stays on earth. "Heaven is here and now." When we show love we experience bits and pieces of heaven, and heaven is everlasting.
