I have no idea what the actual meaning is but I know what it means to me. I am recently going through my own personal battle with cancer and my girlfriend has been a rock. My family are not close so she takes the brunt of everything, with a grace that is beyond her years. You live your life wanting so many things but right now I would settle for this "Just to know we’re safe, I am a grateful man" that would mean so much, and whenever things seem beyond my ability I look at her face and everything is better "I studied your face, the fear goes away. " So in short I think it's about a sick partner and the one they love. |
