Are you serious? "It's not because I don't love the child that we created, but because I know that life would be terrible for the child no matter how hard I tried to support it" That's the biggest lie you've told in your life and YOU know it. I don't care if you label me as judgmental as an excuse to forsake your conscience but listen to what I have to say, anyone who reads this. Because you THOUGHT the baby "might not get provided for" which is B.S. Considering WIC, food stamps and all forms of help you can get out there that you can get (plus you have a job and your BF works a lot which makes no sense so many people wish they could have jobs). Anyway, because you thought you MIGHT not be able to provide for it (and it'd die) you jump the gun and KILL it yourself and remove all doubt of the posibility? You snuff out a life, it isn't going to "come back" that's just a lie we tell ourselves to sleep at night. Yes I sound horrible, but people are doing HORRIFYING things in this world and somebody needs to say something. Stop the madness, and thanks for ruining this song. This is going to be locked in my head forever. I'm never fking someone. |

My parents played this song, I didn't really care for it at the time. But I heard the chorus at the end of the movie Crank I believe, and it just sound so, so pretty I guess you could say. Although the lyrics are a bit dirty. Anyway, I the point of my post is this. Focusing on the chorus something stood out to me. I don't know if everybody gets this but it's what I got. "If only you believed like I believed, we'd get bye." "If only you believed in miracles, so would I." He's having a conflict between his "religious" beliefs, and his love for this woman who does not share them. He's in a state of limbo "If only you believed how I believe, we'd last." While also saying "If only you believed as I do, I would keep my religion (beliefs)" as a result he sorta of has neither. Accepting her is partially denying himself, and denying himself is the only way he can accept her. I just love that concept, even though it's sad. |
