I was one of the people in Melbourne crying... A lot of us cried, her singing combined with the Danger Ensemble was pretty moving. If you've ever lost anyone to violence you'll understand just how chilling the feeling of 'tick tick tick' is, waiting in a hospital to see if someone is okay and the only thing you can hear is 'tick tick tick' from the clock. |

When I was at the Who Killed Amanda Concet about two years ago she spoke about the sound clips that play inbetween the songs when you have a hard copy of the album. In the sound clip is an exchange between Amanda and her college boyfriend from many years ago. When someone asked Amanda what were the clips about she replied by saying that were from her boyfriend, who died of a heroin overdose.... So I'm thinking it might be a reference to the death of her heroin using boyfriend? |
