| Breaking Benjamin – Never Again Lyrics | 10 years ago |
| I'm assuming this is about his sobriety and issues with alcohol. I think the title "Never Again" is basically a declaration to himself that he'll never relapse. | |
| Of Mice & Men – Ohioisonfire Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| Interesting idea full of ironic lyrics that could make sense, but I doubt that's the case. | |
| We Are The Ocean – The Waiting Room Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I could be wrong but a lot of the song sounds like someone struggling with a life of addictions. | |

First off, in the chorus it's "Irish disease", not "Irish curse" Anyway, the chorus says a lot. "I'm clear as glass but I can't ever seem to clean The fingerprints you left on me I wish every night was New Years Eve So this Irish disease could have company" It's about trying to escape the negative effect his father left on him but he doesn't think he can. Also it is about his alcoholism, and the loneliness it makes him feel sometimes hence he "wishes every night was New Years Eve so this Irish disease (alcoholism) could have company." So he's saying if every night was NYE he wouldn't be drinking alone and other people would join him. "I hate myself for never saying that i want you in my life But it's not my place to keep on trying to chase a relationship that's not there But if I don't then I know that you won't even dare" He is trying to reach out to his father because he never did, but he feels like it probably wouldn't matter anyway. |
