It's about the corrupted legal system. By "kettle", he means "Cadilac". He is describing a prosisure where a wealthy man suiting a poor man, even-tho he knows he'll take away all that that man has, for urinating on his expensive car. |

I think that the most of the song means that it sucks that history repeat's itself, but he wants another chance to do something. I bet he guesses that no matter what he would do, it has already has been done, so he just wants to sleep forever, and not die of boredom and retoricness. |

Sounds like the story of the Tower of Babylon. But here he says that someone made a mistake and it all fell down. They started blamng eachother, and saw that there is a little fault in everyone. They could not exept it, so they stopped communicating properly. and the only thing to connect them is there disire to blame got for a mistake the clearly did themselves. |

It sounds like more or less the story of "Faust" by Goethe. Basicly same idea, but I can't find any connection to "Jambi". |
