Ringside – Tired Of Being Sorry Lyrics 14 years ago
This song could be about cheating, I see that, but.... this is how I see it.

Whenever I hear this song, I think of the singer (I don't mean to specifically attach this meaning to the singers personal life) as someone who has gotten themselves surrounded by the lifeless, "fake" people of 'Hollywood' so to speak. He has this girl, (or had her) who warned him he would lose himself in the life of fame, but he thought he needed it. So now he is always sorry for the life he leads.

I don't know why
You wanna follow me tonight
When the rest of the world
With whom I've crossed and I've quarreled

Lets me down so
A thousand reasons that I know
To share forever the unrest
With all the demons I possess
Beneath the silver moon

Why do you still follow me (and love me) when you should hate me? The things I have done, the demons with in me, make me unworthy of you.

Maybe you were right (I've lost myself to this life)
But baby I was lonely (I thought I needed the fame)
I don't wanna fight
I'm tired of being sorry (That I didn't listen to you)

Chandler and Van Nuys (Enrique Iglesias's version of this song says Eighth and Ocean Drive - supposedly in Miami - Is there maybe a club at the corner of Eight and Ocean? That would represent the life of fame)

With all the vampires and their brides (All of the fake, lifeless people of "Hollywood" and such)
Were (or We're) all bloodless and blind
And longing for a life (A better, real life)
Beyond the silver moon (Vampires traditionally can only come out at night. They are trapped in darkness. The people the singer is speaking about are trapped in their lonely, lifeless world, and can't escape from it)

I'm still in the street, yeah (He's still in this life)
Crying out for you (Crying out for the girl he lost or is losing)
No one sees me
But the silver moon (I think this could be literal, standing under the moon and contemplating the things you have lost and what you have become / Or the silver moon could embody the life he lives and is now sorry for, as the 'silver moon' represents being trapped in the life in the second verse. He is still trapped under his 'silver moon.'

So far away
So outer space (From the life he once had, or wants to lead)
I've trashed myself
I've lost my way (Look what I've done to myself in this life, look what I've become)
I've got to get to you, got to get to you (I've got to get back to you - back to what's right and real)
