In my opinion this song is definitely about someone setting their relationship with another straight. I agree with rogerryan when he suggested that "private altamont" was suggestive to an end of era moment, that being the end of the previous relationship. I also get this interpretation through the actual chorus line, "Stacked crooked all along, but now i'm on my way." The last part of the song helps out the theme. I hope this makes more sense of the song for you guys! |
