Alright first of all i do agree with that yes the idea of the name "godsmack" started by Alice in Chains' song but that is not the whole reason. Mostly the real reason is that when they first started out the drummer at that time got a cold sore and the band was about to do a photo shoot and he told sully that he didn't want to do but they had to anyway. Sully kept making fun of him all day and so the next day sully came in and had a cold sore in same spot and same size and the guitarist said that was a god smack for making fun of the guy so that is the main reason why. |
