The song is making fun of major artists in hip hop and crunk rap. They're not putting out lyrics, they're just stacking cus words. reggie points out that music videos for these genres reduce women to objects and just have them wear promiscusous clothing and dance in front of camera. the "im a materialist" portion shows that these big artists are full of themselves and their image "I wear bullet-proof vests for no apparent reason other than to create a false sense of importance of which I could never retain on my own" Basically he's trying to say that the crunk rap and hip hop culture is fucking stupid as are the artists who perform the music. |
