What REALLY gave it away was the line "Where is your god?" Like there is no hope for you, what are you going to pray for now. | Actually this song is said to be about her parents separating... "Crop Circles in the carpet" means the furniture has been moved out and all that is left are crop circle imprints and then "Oily marks appear on walls where pleasure moments hung before" means photos have been taken down... And that I can relate to, so every time I hear it, I CRY! XP | |

The video his actual son is featured. It is about his desire to be a good dad as you can see. I guess he and his wife were separated/ divorced. And in the video it shows her new BF being a real... well jerk. And I think the bridge is saying "I will protect you son no matter where you are." I shall analyse as to what I think lol. "You could be my someone You could be my scene"- You can be my pride and joy "You know that I'll protect you From all of the obscene"- I will protect you from any dismay (as you see in the video the fights) "I wonder what your doing Imagine where you are"- I wonder if you are ok "There's oceans in between us But that's not very far"- If you are in trouble I will be there to comfort you. Understand thats only MY interpretation. But I think it is somewhat close. But even though this song IS about his son there is no doubt. I had heard that from a reliable source. |
