"Don't kick the crack heads off the green They are a political party" What he seems to be describing, to me at least, is the eviction of the crazies and homeless from public places (I think the "green" would be a public park or green space). Many of these are crackheads. Don't get rid of them with such carelessness because though they are a problem in themselves, they represent a deeper problem existing within society and politics in general. They themselves are not only a voice in our culture but a symbol of what this culture produces and what it overlooks and discards. I'm not English, but I know here in America this could be true. |
