Adam talks about the meaning of this song on a "track by track" video on YouTube. He said it's about what he's fighting for spiritually. I dug a little deeper and I find that each of the verses are taken from the beginning and end of the Bible. The first is about Genesis–primarily about Eve taking the apple from the tree. "The princess in her flower bed" (Eve in the garden of Eden) "Where cherry bombs stain the blackbirds red" (taking the apple stained us in sin) The second verse is clearly about Revelation. Revelation 19:11 says: "I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. " I think it's really interesting how Adam is incorporating his faith into his music even more. It's very inspiring! |

| This song is basically saying the sky's the limit. That's a cliche saying but I think Adam and Shawn took it a step further. The song is telling us to reach for the stars and let our imagination grow. It's another perfect example of Adam Young's dreamy and optimistic lyrics. | |
