I think there's an obvious meaning to this. He is making the general point that people are complex, and difficult to understand. Specifically he makes references figuring out love, which is relatable. "Sometimes you have to find out for yourself. Sometimes you need to be told. Sometimes you never find the answer." Here he is saying there's no rule of thumb for what to do. You can't generalise people, context, feelings, relationships... "you can't google the solutions to people's feelings" This reinforces and re-emphasises this point. I'd like to think this is a reference to sites (e.g. like ask.yahoo) where people will ask for/give generic advice on relationships. Because people DO google the solutions to people's feelings, albeit it futilely. In a line: people are complex. |
