I wonder if Black is not really referring to los angeles the city, but to angels. Then again, it is just a supposition, I don't really know this lyrics meaning. |

I guess to sum it up it is a song about the true essency of nihilism. Is is a way of saying "I don't give a fuck' but in truth he gives indeed a fuck, reaching a level of apathy, depression, and living by 'animal reflex" ("I will kill to survive/ I got nothing to hide)) caused by the awareness that life has no importante purpuse whatsoever. Most of the fans don't like the repetition of the line "I've got nothing to say". I find it quite briliant.
