The first two verses seem pretty straight forward to me. First one the famous Jamie Fame Flame has a girl wanting him to help her out with some money, he says no, but invites her in and rapes her. The second one is about the consequences of that, how it appeared in the news and all his ex-fans hate him now, and he lost all his fame. The last verse is the confusing one, where I'm not sure if I'm right at all about what I interpret in it. The first three lines I think talk about his loneliness, as said in the comment above, but the rest is what I think is not only about that. I believe that the "little wizard [who] taught me how to sing with my nose" is the lawyer he hired to defend him in court, which lead to a hearing where "we sang a lot of songs of what is right and what is wrong". There he felt like his world was in a haze, being turned upside down. And lastly he describes how he is sent to prison under a perpetual sentence, so he is found guilty. I might be wrong and it's all about him secluding himself and being on drugs. |
