I think it's about a guy with a troubled past past who thinks he's bringing down his relationship, told through the eyes of the girl who feels completely differently. In the first verse the girl hears him talking about suicide but she just can't imagine living without him. This upsets her but he won't let her cry because he's the one with problems, not her. The second verse talks about his past and why he doesn't know how to love now. But she was taught how and in turn she'll show him. The last verse is her pledge that she'll always be there for him, and it isn't a sacrifice for her. The song is about the immense love two people can feel for eachother even in the face of great problems. |

| I think this song is about the importance of being yourself. Society is always telling us what to do and how to be but we shouldn't listen. This person has changed themselves to please others but has realised their mistake just in time. I think it's saying, I've messed up, I've got scars from my past but they remind me of who I am and to never make the same mistake again. | |

This song is so vague and yet so relatable to absolutely everyone. Warm honey and milk is something comforting, and this person is a great comfort to her so she needs them around. She's pleading they stay surrounding her because even just sound of their voice (their 'warm whispers') make her feel so much better. I absolutely love how this song can morph to fit the situation of almost anyone. To you it could be about your mum, friend, significant other, anyone who is your greatest comfort. |

| This song is quite clearly about mental illness, but a unique insight through the eyes of the loved ones and not the sufferer. It holds special meaning for me as my mum has depression and this is the perfect description of how I feel about her. I'll always be here for her. I fight so hard to understand what she's going through and I'd share the darkness with her in an instant if I could only get there. Those last few lines where there is just vocals are so powerful. It's just full of raw and powerful emotion. Missy must have experienced this - it's the only way she could write something so true. I can't listen to this song without tearing up. | |

I think this song is about someone who having some problems in their life but won't let anyone in. Their friend desperately wants to help but they can't get close enough. So they're begging that the person just need them and hold them tightly because all this trying is killing them but they don't want to lose the relationship. So basically, a plea to be let in to a troubled person's life so they can help them. The line that really cements this is "I've been throwing pointless flares into your night" |

I think this is about a couple getting away from all the negative. Nobody thought they'd really go but they want to start a life together. And the guy has a past, but they'll work through it and could have a wonderful life together. To me, this song reminds me a lot of Nightminds - perhaps written with the same person/relationship in mind? |
