I agree with Soybn, I'm in disbelief it was never put on an album. But I really hope it is oneday. The sound quality of the versions I've heard is terrible, yet it's still one of my favourite KB songs. |

Remembering someone who has died? With heavy reference to the stars, perhaps this is how the speaker likes to visualize where they are or what they've embodied. Dunno, really. Just commented because no one else had and I am loving this song. |

I took it pretty literally to mean that she sheds her skin and becomes human, "when Bear left Bear". I think monkey made her dress and act human, denying her the animalistic freedom she desired for so long that she eventually just became a person... which is really sad. I think this song should be made into a novel. |

hen I realised she had - for lack of a less offenseive word - stolen some of these lyrics from Gang Gang Dance's 'House Jam' I was rather turned off this song and Florence and the Machine. She didn't even tell them; they discovered it themselves and had to seek royalties. I think she a rude, self-important and overrated bitch.

I thought 'frame your eyes and stain your knuckles' meant fighting.. Black eyes and bleeding knuckles from throwing punches etc., but now I think I might be wrong ha ha. Thoughts on what it means? |
