This song, I feel, represents the personification of the night. The writer here describes the night as a mother figure. It also tells us about the soothing we feel when we go to sleep. The last few lyrics rend me a little confused though. "In the end I'll find my solace in an EARTHEN CRADLE"... This could maybe mean death. |
