I initially didn't like this song purely due to the sound, but since it plays all the time on the radio I got was able to listen more closely to the lyrics, specifically, "I make mistakes just like everybody else But instead I'm letting go of it I can't forgive myself," and I was like "HOLY CRAP." I definitely take it as a song about depression and feeling trapped in everyday monotony, just overall feeling confused about what to do and if we can even put forth the effort to do what we have to do to just survive, which can often involve having to forgive ourselves for mistakes we made, even if we thought we were doing the right thing...I think I have a new theme song! |

| I love StarBar and katiem253's interpretations, especially the latter's view of "sail" as an analogy to mental illness--it makes a ton of sense. I heard this song the first time early this morning and I totally love it. Woo a new band to love!!! | |
