powerful, positive, encouraging song. love it. this song is on my "running" ipod mix. it always comes up 1/2 through my running route when I'm gassed and struggling w/ negative thoughts (like "I can't do this" or "I can finish tomorrow"). --- then this song comes on-- "don't lay down and die"--- keep your feet moving. anyway, about this song- - don't "judge" people. encourage people. the person singing the song knows about your struggles at life. but he doesn't condemn (the sin/struggle is the thing that condemns, or you condemn yourself). so instead of judging, the singer gives a word of encouragement (the chorus). |

@xxxJanexxx... yeah i think you're right about the lyrics. anyway, what's the fallout? maybe the negative consequences of your choices and actions? i like how the chorus makes you feel like you're not alone: even though your lost, there's hope b/c there are ppl out there just like you who are struggling....and more importantly ppl who have overcome and found what life is about. i like alter bridge....this song should be a single. |
