Still, i dont get what this song is exactly about! to me it kinda sounds like just a committed relationship between a two young teenagers and itsjust slug describing the personalities of each of these characters and the problems within their relationship, mostly due to thier young age. but that they are still just learning the lessons of life and kinda taking in everyhting that life is showing them. maybe this could be inspired by slug and a relationship he had or maybe off a friend, im not sure. But this is all just a guess. if someone has a better ideaology about it, please tell me! |

This song is basically about him in a relationship where all they do is fight. "Whacha gonna do? Slam doors, break a glass? Maybe pass out on the kitchen floor with your naked ass?" It's her throwing a fit because she's mad at him. "She still makes time to hate me But basically, I'm overbooked - no emotional vacancy" That just means she still screams and fights but he's so sick of fighting he just ignores it and does nothing for it. He has no "emotional vacancy" left. When he starts talking about how... "These drugs ain't as good as we wish they were" It's him just saying that now the two just take drugs all the time because of their anger torwards eachother and the depression within the relationship. "Sometimes you make me feel like such a prick That even I'm convinced that I'm the one who's sick" and "And Now I got a head full of better off dead..." that's slug just saying that he feels like complete shit due to the things that she says and because of all the fighting that they share. The rest of the lyrics are pretty self explanitory i think ive explained all the ones that ned to be explained. |
