This is the song that made me fall in love with Augustana. I was obsessed with it, and played it over and over and over. I hadn't heard any of their other songs when I bought Can't Love, Can't Hurt, but now, I've fallen in love with them all. (: ♥
But, this song is really beautiful. I agree both with Jordanzadanggit and sunshine16 for the meaning of the song- I think it's about passion, but it really sounds like it has a slight sexual undertone. |

I didn't hear that when I first started listening to it, but recently I've definitely heard that.
"Desire, taking me so much higher." and "Fire, turning me on." Really gave it that sound to me. |

I didn't read through all the comments, so I don't know if anyone said this, but I read/heard somewhere that Dan wrote this about a college friend. I don't remember whether or not they were in a relationship, but I think he was writing the song from her view, of wanting to get out of California and go someplace completely different, such as Boston.
Either way, this song never gets old, and never fails to amaze me with how beautiful it is. Augustana is such a talented band, they definitely deserve more popularity. (: |

I'm not positive, as I'd like to know who Lucinda is as well, but I'm guessing that he's saying, "Put on Lucinda" and then calling whoever he's singing about baby, thus "Lucinda baby". I have no idea who Lucinda is, but I'm just guessing that she's famous for maybe a romantic song(s) or something, since the song sounds to me like it's about a romance. Hope that helps.(: |
