I definitely agree with the song meaning that the dead hearts are past relationships with anyone but I also think dead hearts could be people they knew whose lifes were hopeless. Random story in relation to the storyyyy! There are kids in my town who graduated high school a couple of years ago and never went to a college or moved. They work at the same pizza place for years and are very well known for drinking and doing drugs. When I see them, it's like i see lifeless lifes that just go place to place like a ghost because of their sad appearance and vibe. The song reminds me of them because of when she sings " they were kids I once knew ". Just a thought. |
