| This song ranks up there with Dylan's "The Times They Are A Changin" as it hits people with the truth dead in the mouth. Too many listen to the language of politics and forget what type of governments we have backed. We forget that people are people...the victims of oppression be it their government or another. We tend to use labels that justify actions (terrorist, rebel,) as well as labels that justify our stance...remember Reagan's calling the Contras "freedom fighters" when they were actually a government special police group under Somoza. This is a powerful song and it is a song that will disturb those who are afraid of truth. Thanks E. | |
