You clearly have never listened to their music, ever. Regardless of their lyrics, or religious preference, they are very gifted musicians. Anyone who listens to metal, even if they don't like them, should be able to recognize this. To not see that is being closed minded. The song, in my opinion, is about not spending our whole lives lost in the search for fullfilment through things (money, cars, whatever..) but enjoying the journey through life itself because that is what makes us whole in the end, not these things we try so hard to accumulate. |
