Wow, I love this interpretation. 'Falling off a giant bird that's been carrying me' is a pretty hefty image. It has to have more substance/spirituality to it than love/drugs. |

I'm pretty convinced 'the last one out of the box' refers to hope, because it was the last to come out of Pandora's box, and fits as 'the one who broke the spell' as in the spell of evil, bad stuff whatever you want to call it.
Also 'I don't know where it is I should look' and 'don't turn nasty now' totally fit way better. 'Turned to nasty now' isn't even grammatical.
And yeah I don't want to believe he's singing 'the pillar of my soul' unless he is in fact talking about a bottle of beer because it sounds too cheesy/hackneyed. Pillar of my salt has way more content to it. |
